It was not until Lily showed up on Louisa's doorstep that I was truly engaged in this book. Some thoughts that ran through my head were: "Could this really be Will's daughter?", "She's a teenager, how old would Will have been when he had her?", and "Did Will know?". It was Louisa's question that really struck me as the most important: "Would this have made a difference in Will's decision to end his life?"
Also, Will's dad is having a baby with his new wife! What?! That threw me for a loop as well. There are many things happening that keep me engaged in the story. Louisa is such a funny and likable character, and I am excited to see where it goes!

ReplyDeleteI have not read this series, but it seems to interesting. It seems like there are a lot of different things that happen to keep you interested in the book and series. What kind of genre is this series in? It seems like something that I would really enjoy and I am definitely going to look into this series.
Becca, reading your blog makes me want to grab the first book! I am interested to see how you feel about this book when you are finished! If you end up liking it I think I might have to get my hands on this series!

ReplyDeleteI have read the first book of this seires and just like you am just not over Will's death! I had picked up the second book to read, but never did in the end! After reading your blog about the second book I will have to go get the second book and read it! I need to know why she falls of the building and if it is his daughter or not! All these things are making me wonder about things that happened in the first and if there were hints or not! You will have to let me know how you like the book in the end!
